New at KenJo Sabers: pre-order lightsabers, helmets, and exclusive designs

Good news for lightsaber fans, collectors, and cosplayers: at KenJo Sabers, you can now pre-order select new products using our new pre-order feature. This way, you can reserve your favorite lightsaber, helmet, or KenJo Exclusive design before it’s officially available.

This feature is primarily intended for new releases for which we already have an expected availability date. Examples include new KenJo Exclusive lightsabers, special designs, premium sabers, or handmade helmets, which often sell out quickly.

What is a pre-order?

A pre-order means that you order and pay for a product in advance, before it is widely available. This reserves your order. As soon as the product is available, we'll ship your order as quickly as possible.

On the product page, you'll automatically see the expected availability. This date is a dynamic estimate and may be earlier or later than indicated. Therefore, always check the product page for the most up-to-date information.

Since the expected availability is updated automatically, we generally do not send separate interim updates by email. Of course, as soon as your order is shipped, you will automatically receive a tracking number.

Why pre-order a lightsaber or helmet?

New lightsabers, helmets, and exclusive designs can quickly become popular. By pre-ordering a product, you’ll find out early on what new items are coming and secure your copy in advance.

This way, you'll be among the first to receive your new saber, helmet, or collectible as soon as it becomes available. That's ideal for fans who want to expand their collection, complete a cosplay outfit, or simply don't want to miss out on a new release.

Pre-orders are especially useful for handmade helmets. These products are often in limited supply, take longer to produce, and can sell out quickly. With a pre-order, you can place a reservation before the entire stock arrives.

Availability and pre-order options may vary by variant

For some products, availability may vary by variant. Consider, for example, a lightsaber that’s available in Baselit or Neopixel variants. Sometimes a small shipment of one specific variant arrives first, while we’re still waiting for delivery of the larger bulk shipment or another variant.

The product page updates this automatically. If you select a variant that’s in stock, you’ll see the normal stock status and can add it directly to your cart. If you select a variant that’s available for pre-order, you’ll see the pre-order message and the expected availability, and the order button will also change to “Pre-order.”

Therefore, always double-check the selected variant, the stock icon, the order button, and the Shipping and Returns tab. This way, you can immediately see whether your specific version is in stock or available for pre-order.

A pre-order is not the same as a backorder

Not every sold-out product is automatically available for pre-order. We mainly use pre-orders for new products or upcoming releases for which we can provide an estimated availability date.

A pre-order is also different from a backorder. With a backorder, a product is available for order, even though it is temporarily out of stock. A pre-order usually refers to a new product or a new shipment that has yet to arrive.

Therefore, always check the product page for the correct status. The website automatically shows whether a product is in stock, available for pre-order, or can be ordered in some other way.

Where can you find the right information?

You'll find all the important information on the product page. Be sure to pay special attention to the stock icon, the text next to the selected variant, the order button, and the Shipping and Returns tab.

That tab clearly indicates whether a product is available for pre-order. It also explains that you can place your order and pay now to reserve your order. The expected availability listed on the product page is always the most up-to-date estimate.

Once the order is received, our standard delivery times and shipping terms apply.
