Description: Protege is an all-black saber made from aluminum. This ensures that the handle is lightweight yet very strong. This is perhaps the perfect entry-level saber without compromising on quality. The handle features finger-shaped notches that allow the saber to be held super firmly and will not easily slip out of your hands while dueling or spinning. The emitter is cut at an angle which gives the Protege a fancy finish. At the bottom of the saber is a built-in connector ring. So with a second saber like the Acolyte, for example, you do not need to buy an extra connector ring to make a saberstaff. The flat underside also ensures that the saber can be set up perfectly straight for display in the home. The Protege comes with one black and one red premium sword blade mounting screw.

What is the difference between the different rgb and neopixel soundboards?
KenJo Sabers are available with different soundboard types. On the product page you can see which soundboards are available for the specific saber.
Each soundboard allows you to choose from different colors and features different sound types. A baselit saber is equipped with a hollow sword and a powerful 12watt lamp, in a neopixel sword there is a super bright 40 watt led strip which allows to show different blade styles and start up styles. Depending on the soundboard you choose this is done through pre sets or can be chosen from a number of options or even completely customizable. With some KenJo Sabers soundboards there is even a handy bluetooth app to control the lightsaber with.
