I have a technical problem with my lightsaber.
If you're having problems with your KenJo Saber, we'd like to fix it for you. On the troubleshoot page we give answers to the most common questions or complications with corresponding solutions. What is the difference between the different soundboard types: base lit, neopixel and proffie.
Base lit models are equipped with a bright 12 watt bulb in the handle. This shines into the sword and in this way causes the lightsaber to light up.
Neopixel and Proffie have a sword that is equipped with a double-sided LED strip along the entire length of the inside. This ensures that the light is much brighter than a base lit variant and also offers more light effect possibilities.
All soundboard types come with preset sounds and colors. The proffie variant comes with a 16GB SD card. Many sound effects and light effects can be found on various forums for uploading.

I lost the manual for my saber / How does a KenJo Saber work.
The operation of your saber differs per soundboard type and in some cases minimally between certain models. On this page you can find the right manual for your saber or soundboard type. How do I assemble a KenJo Saber?
Remove the black or clear cap from the flat side of the saber. Then carefully slide the blade/sword or plug into the handle until it meets the bulb. With a neopixel model, it is important that the pins are pushed down sufficiently. Make sure that the socket screws do not block the blade on the inside of the handle. Next, use the included allen screws and allen wrench to tighten the blade firmly into the handle. Also watch the instructional video here on the troubleshoot page
Can I use my lightsaber for dueling?
You sure can! All of our swords are made of durable polycarbonate developed for lightsaber against lightsaber duels. Always use common sense and be careful. We recommend wearing protective gear and making sure there is enough room so there is no damage to the environment or other people.
Please note that RGB base lit lightsabers are best suited for dueling. Other soundboard type lightsabers have a led strip in the sword which makes them heavier and more vulnerable. These models can also be used for dueling, but we recommend soft to medium dueling to avoid damage.
How many colors does a lightsaber have? What colors are available?
KenJo Sabers come standard with 12 different preset colors. The colors can easily be changed by using the button on the lightsaber. It is also possible to choose a color yourself by slowly changing the color of the lightsaber. Exact instructions can be found in the manual that comes with every lightsaber. Some models have different colors of handles / hilts. On the product page you can see in what color a lightsaber is available. If the desired variant is shown as sold out, we don't have it in stock. Do you want to buy it or do you have another wish? Please let us know. It is often possible to facilitate a saber specifically for you.
I have seen a lightsaber replica of a Star Wars character somewhere else. Or, I'm looking for a specific lightsaber.

How do I use my Neopixel lightsaber functions?

Then it is possible that there are more functions described than your saber has. If you have a premium neopixel saber, you can update your saber yourself.
Why do I get a USB stick with my premium Neopixel lightsaber?
The USB stick has an input for a Micro SD card. This card is inside the Premium Neopixel board. It is possible to update the board in this way.
How do I use my Proffie lightsaber functions?
Each KenJo Sabers lightsaber comes with a manual. It contains all the instructions on how the lightsaber works! Online you can find the most recent version https://kenjosabers.nl/pages/handleiding-kenjo-sabers. The Proffie soundboard allows you to set your own effects, sound types and other effects. The possibilities are endless. Also take a look at https://therebelarmory.com/ for information and settings for your Proffie board. Please note that because the Proffie 2.2 soundboard is fully customizable it requires a bit more time, your own research and computer skills to master. There are plenty of tutorials on various forums and YouTube.
How do I create a dualsaber?
To create a dualsaber you will need two lightsabers that are marked "dualsaber ready" and a connector ring. To connect the two lightsabers, unscrew the bottom of both lightsabers. The connector ring can now be connected to both lightsabers through the thread.
