From Ahsoka Tano's two lightsabers to the curved weapons of Asajj Ventress: Star Wars: The Clone Wars shows how personal a lightsaber can be. The animated series not only follows battles, but also friendship, doubt and the choices that lead the Jedi to their downfall. In this collection you will discover the most famous Jedi, Sith and other warriors, with direct links to the KenJo Sabers designs associated with them.
What's The Clone Wars about?
The series is set mainly between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. The Republic fights with a clone army against the Separatists, while the Jedi assume the role of generals. Anakin receives Ahsoka as a student and carries out missions with Obi-Wan and their allies throughout the galaxy. Behind the war is Darth Sidious, who manipulates both sides. The stories give the clones individual identities and show how the war changes the Jedi before Order 66 is carried out.
Which Jedi and lightsabers appear in The Clone Wars?
Ahsoka Tano: from Padawan to an independent path
Ahsoka begins as a young student who has to prove herself to Anakin and the soldiers. Through mistakes, responsibilities and loss she develops a more independent judgment. Her fighting style changes along with it: next to a longer lightsaber she subsequently uses a shorter second weapon, a shoto. Her early green tones and the blue lightsabers from the final phase of the series belong to different moments in her development.
Daisho, inspired by Ahsoka Tano, consists of a long and a short handle. This allows you to take her characteristic two-weapon style as a starting point. The curved white-lightsaber design from her later life is a different design; look at the Ahsoka series collection.
Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi: two blue lightsabers, two personalities
Anakin often opts for a direct and risky plan, while Obi-Wan approaches the situation more thoughtfully. Their collaboration gives the war a personal face. Both use blue lightsabers, but their handles and attitude differ. For a display of the duo you can place Young Renegade as Anakin-inspired lightsaber next to General as an Obi-Wan-inspired model. Compare the precise form for each version and per period of their story.
Mace Windu, Yoda and the Jedi Temple Guards
Mace Windu and Yoda represent the leadership of the Order, each with a highly recognizable weapon: purple for Mace, green for Yoda. View Korunnai for Mace Windu and Teacher for Yoda. The masked Temple Guards add another image with their yellow, double-bladed weapons. Phantom Guard is linked to these temple guards and forms an interesting contrast to the personal hilts of the main characters.
Which Sith and dark warriors are in The Clone Wars?
Darth Sidious and Count Dooku are at the heart of the Sith machinery behind the war. Dooku combines his political role with a refined duel style and a curved lightsaber hilt. For his design you can view Counts Curve. His apprentice and assassin Asajj Ventress is also a dangerous lightsaber fighter, but her relationship to the Sith changes during the story.
Asajj Ventress: more than Dooku's weapon
Ventress fights with two curved red lightsabers and takes her own path after betrayal. Her connection to the Nightsisters and her later choices make her more complicated than a standard opponent. Ventara, inspired by Asajj Ventress, and Ventara Essence join her recognizable hilt style. Check for each version if you are looking at one weapon or a complete combination.
Maul and the battle for Mandalore
Maul's return makes his history much bigger than the duel on Naboo. He seeks power, allies and revenge, among others on Mandalore. For his double-bladed silhouette you will find Saberstaff Zilver. His weapons and status change through the different stories: a Maul model is not automatically the exact version from each episode.
Rex, Cody and clone helmets with their own story
Captain Rex and Commander Cody show that the clones are more than identical soldiers. Rex' bond with Anakin and Ahsoka and Cody's collaboration with Obi-Wan give the war emotional consequences. The Captain Rex helmet and Commander Cody helmet connect a saber display to the soldiers standing next to the Jedi.
Frequently Asked Questions about Clone Wars Swords
Does Ahsoka always have two white lightsaber?
No. Her white weapons are part of her later life stage. Within The Clone Wars, her equipment and blade colours change; therefore, first choose the period you want to depict.
Are Ventress, Maul and the Temple Guards all Sith?
No. The Temple Guards belong to the Jedi, Ventress has a changing relationship to Dooku and Maul follows a power struggle after his former Sith apprenticeship. A double weapon or striking color does not tell in itself which group a character belongs to.
