The history of Jedi and Sith (briefly explained).
Originally, both stemmed from the same Force tradition. But where the Jedi chose discipline and harmony, the Sith felt that emotion should not be suppressed. This led to centuries of conflict: the Jedi-Sith Wars.
The Sith were nearly exterminated, but survived in secret. Eventually, this led to the fall of the Jedi Order and the rise of the Empire. The battle between light and darkness repeats itself over and over again.
Which lightsaber color belongs to you?
The color of your lightsaber says a lot about your path:
🔵 Blue - Courage and Protection
🟢 Green - Wisdom and deep connection to the Force
🟡 Yellow - Balance and independence
🔴 Red - Strength and passion
Fun facts:
- Blue is the most classic Jedi color and is often associated with Jedi Guardians: Jedi who focus heavily on combat technique and protection. Many iconic Jedi, such as Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi, used a blue lightsaber.
- Green is traditionally associated with Jedi Consulars: Jedi who delve more deeply into wisdom, diplomacy and a strong spiritual connection to the Force. A well-known example is Yoda, whose green lightsaber symbolizes deep knowledge and mastery of the Force.
- Traditionally, yellow was used by Jedi Temple Guards. They were full-fledged Jedi, but with a specific role: protection, vigilance and balance within the order. A well-known example is Rey. At the end of her journey, Rey deliberately chooses a yellow lightsaber as a symbol of a new beginning. She builds her own saber and thus does not simply choose the old Jedi tradition, but her own path within the Force.
- Red is exclusive to Sith and Dark Side users. In lore, a red blade is created by a Sith "bleeding" a kyber crystal by infusing it with Dark Side energy. The color red symbolizes passion, anger, power and dominance. Iconic examples include Darth Vader and Darth Maul, whose red lightsabers are instantly recognizable as a sign of the Dark Side.
